Journey

Journey was our first Tibetan Terrier—and the very beginning of our love affair with the breed. From day one, she made it abundantly clear that she was not here to fit into our world… we were here to adjust to hers.

Strong-willed, endlessly courageous, and completely unapologetic, Journey ran the house (and, frankly, any room she entered) with absolute authority. She ensured that we—and every canine companion, regardless of size or breed—understood that she was the Queen Bee, and that status was entirely non-negotiable. Rules? Hers. Schedule? Also hers. Opinions? Always hers.

And somehow, we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

At the remarkable age of 15, we said goodbye to Journey in December 2025. While our hearts will always miss her larger-than-life presence, we are deeply grateful for everything she taught us—about the breed, about partnership, and about the joy of loving a dog who knows exactly who she is.

She will forever be a part of us and the foundation of everything we’ve built.
